What is Build My Rank?
Basically, Build My Rank is a network of high page rank websites that you can submit your unique written content to in order to create new links pointing back to pages of your websites that you specify.
Build My Rank claims to have “invested significant capital to assemble a virtual real estate empire of aged, high page rank domains with tons of link juice.” They also promise that these domains are all hosted on different Class C IP addresses in order to mimimize any “footprint” that the search engines could use to devalue the links you generate in the network.
But How Does Build My Rank Work?
First you have to submit your website for review and acceptance by human reviewers. A day or two later you should then get an email saying your site has been approved and you are able to then begin promoting. I think you should know that during my trial with BMR, I submitted four websites and all four got accepted.
After acceptance, you provide original posts of 150 words or more and BMR allows you to place links with anchor text (maximum allowance is one link per 150 words of text) pointing back to pages of your website.
A day or two after that your posts are pubished to sites randomly in their network and then your job for that specific post and link is done.
Build My Rank then goes out and automatically socially bookmarks the pages containing your links so that “95%+ of all posts consistently [are] indexed month to month.”
After your posts are published you can see the Post Page Rank Distribution in the dashboard of your account to see how powerful each of your new links are.
Under the posts tab you can then see a chart with the title, keywords, status and index status of each of your post. Here you can also click on the little binoculars in the right column to visit that actual webpage that your post was published on.

I searched the Web to find real Internet Marketers that have used Build My Rank but were not affiliated with the company. I was looking for any instance where people were openly discussing this service online.

Here’s a great tip that I found from another user online that I put to work in my trial with good results. The network will keep a snippet of your post on the first page of the domain (the page with the most page rank) for a little while so make sure you put your link(s) in the first sentence or two so that they are included on the homepage for extra link power.

If you don’t have the time or are not very good at writing, I suggest you budget another 50 bucks a month on top of the monthly subscription.
Lastly, it usually takes a day or two for the support team to approve your posts and your domains so don’t get frustrated when you run into this.

Also, at 60 bucks per month, it is one of the most inexpensive link building option out there. The one major drawback and word of caution is that you must be prepared to either write or buy unique, readable content that you can post to the network almost on a daily basis. Also, the only people that this service was not effective for were those that were targeting super competitive keywords. This is a common newbie mistake that costs us all time and money. If you are not prepared to target specific long tail keyword phrases before you subscribe, don’t waste your time.
My conclusions came from my own use of the service where I saw an improvement for a few keywords right away, the fact that my posts were actually posted on high PR sites, as promised, and because of all the positive feedback that I found from other actual users.
